The Official Launch of Latin Exploration 2011 took place on March 6 at Sheraton Centre, Toronto. More than 100 people attended the official launch event, among them argentinean authorities such as National Mining Secretary, Jorge Mayoral, the Mining MInister of San Juan, Felipe Saavedra, and Mining Secretary of Santa Cruz, Oscar Luis Vera. Executives from leading companies with interests in the region were also present: Minera IRL, Pan American Silver, Cornerstone, Grosso Group, Alder Resources, Guyana Frontier, Minera Andes, Lthium 1, Votorantim, Mansfield, Li3 Energy, Coro Mining, Exeter & Extorre, Yamana, Rugby Mining, Esperanza Resources, Goldcorp, Pachamama Resources and Patagonia Gold, to name a few.
