Last May 5th, within the framework of Arminera, Argentina Mining organized a friendly cocktail at Casa de Salta to celebrate the launching of Argentina Mining 2012 International Convention.
To the surprise of many, the new venue of the 9th International Convention on Business Opportunities in Exploration, Geology and Mining was inaugurated. Salta, a northern province, will be the next convention venue, today an itinerant event arriving various places where the mining potential is in the making.
Argentina Mining conventions began in 1996 in the city of Mendoza. From 2006 on, the Convention was held jointly in San Juan and Mendoza, and, in 2010, the event was held entirely in San Juan.
Authorities from Salta’s government, managers and businessmen of mining and supplying companies, and professionals of the sector attended the launching cocktail and enjoyed not only a pleasant evening at Casa de Salta’s terrace in Buenos Aires, but also an entertaining prize draw.
